Validity of your prescription

To order prescription lenses from lepetitlunetier.com, you must have a valid medical prescription:

  • Less than 1 year old if you are under 16

  • Less than 5 years old if you are between 16 and 42

  • Less than 3 years old if you are over 42

We recommend consulting an ophthalmologist at least once a year to check your vision.

Mandatory free quotation:

In accordance with the decree of 28 April 2017 (as amended) and Article R.4362-14 of the Public Health Code, a detailed standardised quotation is provided free of charge before any sale of prescription lenses or contact lenses.

This quotation includes:

  • A detailed description of the products (brand, reference, key features)

  • Details of associated services

  • Prices, reimbursement amounts by mandatory health insurance and, where known, by your supplementary health insurance

  • Estimated out-of-pocket cost

  • A clear distinction between the 100% Santé offer (Class A) and the free-pricing offer (Class B)

The processing of prescriptions and the dispensing of prescription lenses ordered from lepetitlunetier.com are handled by our qualified optician, registered with the Shared Directory of Healthcare Professionals (RPPS):

Traceability of medical devices

Every prescription lens order is subject to rigorous traceability. The detailed invoice provided upon delivery specifies:

  • Product identification details (brand, model, manufacturer references)

  • The name of the optician who reviewed your order

  • Information relating to the legal and commercial warranty


Material vigilance

Prescription lenses and contact lenses are medical devices subject to CE marking. In the event of an adverse effect, you can report it to the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM):
