Withdrawal Policy/Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), took possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Le Petit Lunetier Paris SAS, 155 rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris, France, email: contact@lepetitlunetier.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

For prescription glasses whose lenses are made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs, there is no right of withdrawal. Withdrawal is excluded in this respect pursuant to Section 312g(2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB). This does not affect the additional 14-day return policy offered when purchasing glasses with prescription lenses (see details on the service fee retained and this special return policy in our Terms and Conditions).

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees because of this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary for testing their condition, characteristics and functioning.
