Legal guarantees

On top of our commercial guarantees, you are automatically covered by the following statutory guarantees:

Commercial guarantee

Frames

1 year — from delivery

If a defect or breakage happens within a year of delivery, we replace the damaged part (temple, nose pad, screw, hinge) free of charge, or the whole frame if that part can't be replaced on its own.

After one year, and while stocks last, we replace spare parts (temples, nose pads, screws, hinges) free of charge with no time limit. Shipping both ways is on you; the part and the labour are on us.

If you have had a third-party optician fit lenses to your frame, any structural handling (heating, bending, removing or fitting lenses) by them suspends the commercial guarantee on the affected parts. Your statutory guarantees still apply regardless.

Prescription lenses

Because prescription lenses are made to order from your prescription, they do not carry a commercial guarantee against breakage, scratches or loss. The statutory guarantees (manufacturing defects, prescription errors) still apply under the conditions above.

Adapting to progressive lenses

1 month — from delivery

Getting used to progressive lenses can take a little time. If you can't adjust within a month of receiving your order, get in touch: we will either remake the lenses or fully refund the order, whichever you prefer.

After this one-month window from delivery, progressive lenses can no longer be exchanged or refunded on this basis. The statutory conformity guarantees still apply, separate from any question of adaptation.
