What we stand for

Eye care comes before eyewear

Le Petit Lunetier started with one simple thought. We couldn't see why seeing properly, in a frame you actually like, had to cost a small fortune.

So we built a brand that puts good glasses within reach, without cutting corners on quality or on the service that comes with them.

How we work

Fewer middlemen, a genuinely fair price

The question we get asked most: how do you keep this level of quality at that kind of price? It comes down to how we work. The optical trade stacks up middlemen. Factory, sales agent, wholesaler, retail store, and every one of them drives up the final price of a pair of glasses.

We chose to take them out and do everything ourselves. Opticians and designers since 2015, we design and assemble our frames in Paris, then sell them direct, in our own stores and on our own site. No wholesaler, no distributor, no reseller.

That is what lets us put real finishing work into a frame and still keep the price down. Have a look at our prescription glasses and our sunglasses.

Our offer

Buy one, get one free

Most of us need more than one pair. One for screens, one for the sun, one for the look. So every frame you buy comes with a second one free, prescription or sunglasses.

And you can try them all on from your sofa with our virtual try-on.

Built to last

Built to last, and built for what comes next

Premium acetate, hypoallergenic metal, more and more bio-acetate. We pick materials that hold up over time, and manufacturers who are audited and certified. A frame that lasts and can be repaired is the one that creates the least waste.

We would rather show it than promise it. Here is the whole picture: materials, lifetime repairs, packaging, transport and certified manufacturers.

Service & care

Service is half the product

Cheap glasses that fall apart are worth nothing. What we really commit to is the human side that keeps your pair going.

  • A qualified optician, in store.A qualified optician checks your prescription, adjusts your nose pads and advises you in store, for as long as you wear the glasses.
  • Walk in for repairs, for life.A loose temple, a frame that needs reshaping, a part to replace? Drop into one of our stores whenever it suits you. Repairs, spare parts for life and the warranty: it is all set out here.

Eye health

Glasses are a health matter first

Style comes after sight. Every pair of our sunglasses blocks 100% of UV rays and carries the CE mark. Most sit in category 3, the one made for full sun. A few gradient models are in a lower category, and it is stated on the product page.

And because a prescription cannot be guessed at, our qualified opticians handle the centring, the glazing and the fitting to your prescription in store. A screen will never replace someone who takes your measurements, adjusts your nose pads and checks that you actually see sharply.

Stores & teams

Jobs in France, real advice across the counter

Behind the brand there are stores across France and teams trained for the job. Qualified opticians, advisers who genuinely know the products, and someone to greet you at the counter.

Buying from Le Petit Lunetier keeps neighbourhood stores alive, and real people in them.
