Our commitments
Good vision shouldn't be a privilege.
Le Petit Lunetier started with a simple idea. A pair of glasses is first and foremost a health product. We didn't see why seeing well, and wearing a frame you love, should cost a fortune. So we built a brand that makes quality eyewear accessible, without compromising on quality or service.
Our model
Fewer middlemen, for a truly fair price.
The question we're asked most often: how do we maintain this level of quality at such a competitive price? The answer lies in our model. The optical industry is riddled with intermediaries: from factory to retail store, via sales agents, each one adds to the final price of a pair of glasses.
We chose to cut them out and do everything ourselves. Optician-designers since 2015, we design and hand-assemble our frames in our Paris workshop, then sell them directly, in our shops and online. No wholesaler, no distributor, no reseller.
That's what allows us to offer frames with meticulously crafted finishes at a truly fair price: our prescription glasses and sunglasses start at €49.
Our offer
Buy one, get one free.
You often need more than one pair: one for screens, one for the sun, one for style. That's why every frame you buy comes with a second one free, whether prescription glasses or sunglasses. You can try them all from home using our virtual try-on.
Sustainability
Built to last, designed for tomorrow.
Premium acetate, hypoallergenic metal, and increasingly bio-acetate: we choose materials that stand the test of time, and work with audited, certified manufacturers. A frame that lasts and can be repaired is the best way to reduce waste.
We prefer to prove it rather than promise it. Discover our sustainability approach: materials, lifetime repairability, packaging, shipping, and certified manufacturers.
Service
Service is half the product.
Cheap glasses that don't last are pointless. What we're really committed to is the human support that extends the life of your pair.
Eye health
Glasses are first and foremost about health.
Fashion comes after vision. All our sunglasses filter 100% of UV rays and carry the CE mark. Most are category 3, suitable for bright sunlight. A few gradient-lens models are in a lower category, and this is indicated on each product page.
And since a prescription can't be sorted out blindly, our qualified opticians handle centring, fitting, and prescription adaptation in-store. A screen will never replace someone who takes your measurements, adjusts your nose pads, and checks that you're seeing clearly.
Stores and teams
Jobs in France, advice in store.
Behind the brand, there are stores all over France and teams trained in the trade. Qualified opticians, advisors who really know the products, and someone to welcome you at the counter.
Buying from Le Petit Lunetier means supporting local shops, with real people in front of you.
