Cancellation Instructions & Cancellation Form

Consumers:meaning any individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside that individual's trade, business, craft, or profession:are entitled to cancel any contract under the following conditions:

Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without providing any reason.

The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us (Le Petit Lunetier SAS, 115 rue de Charonne, 75011 Paris, France, Tel.: +33 7 69 66 21 51, Email: contact@lepetitlunetier.com) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You may use the attached model cancellation form, though it is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notice of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

For contracts involving multiple goods ordered in one transaction and delivered separately, the cancellation period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, acquires physical possession of the last item.

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after we are informed of your decision to cancel. We may deduct from the reimbursement any loss in value of goods supplied if that loss results from unnecessary handling by you. Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence of having returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day you notify us of your cancellation. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the 14-day period expires.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function.

Exclusion and/or Premature Expiration of the Right to Cancel

The right to cancel is excluded for contracts involving goods made to the consumer's specifications or that are clearly personalized.

General Information

1) Please prevent damage to and contamination of the goods. If possible, return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, use suitable packaging that provides adequate protection against potential transport damage.
2) Please do not return goods freight-collect.
3) Please note that the above general information in sections 1 and 2 is not a precondition for effectively exercising your right to cancel.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal and Voluntary Return Policy

Prescription glasses that have been made to your specifications or clearly customized to your requirements are excluded from the right of withdrawal. This does not affect our voluntary return policy for prescription glasses within 14 days. Please note that a service charge may apply if you return prescription glasses.
