1. RETURNS

The modalities mentioned in the "Returns" section are not a prerequisite for exercising your right to withdraw from this contract according to your "right of withdrawal" (see below).

1.1.NON-PRESCRIPTION GLASSES/SUNGLASSES

If you have ordered non-prescription glasses or sunglasses, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw from this contract, beginning with receipt of your delivery. 

If you would like to exercise your right to withdraw from your contract and return an order, please inform us within the 14-day period by writing to contact@lepetitlunetier.com 

We request that you subsequently return the glasses to us immediately. 

Please note that the costs of return are the responsibility of the customer and we do not cover these in the case of return. 

A direct exchange is unfortunately not possible.

INDIVIDUAL STEPS FOR RETURNING NON-PRESCRIPTION GLASSES/SUNGLASSES


If you would like to return an order to us, please follow the steps indicated below:

Step 1: Please download the returns form, print this out, complete it, and don't forget to include it in your return package, so that we can process your return. Click on this link to access our returns form.

Step 2: Please send your item(s) back to the following address immediately after notifying us of your intention to make a return.

Please note that the costs of return are the responsibility of the customer and we do not cover these in the case of return. We also suggest adding a tracking number to your return, so that we can track the parcel in case any problems occur. Please keep your receipt as proof of postage until we have received your item(s) and completed your return.

Step 3: Once we have received your return, we will process your return and will usually refund the invoice amount within 8 working days after receipt of your return, using the payment method you selected when placing your order.

 

2. PRESCRIPTION GLASSES/SUNGLASSES

Would you like to return a pair of prescription glasses/sunglasses?


All goods that have been produced according to customer specifications are excluded from the legal right to withdrawal. Although each pair of glasses that has been adjusted to suit your vision is a unique and individual product, we still offer you 14 calendar days to return your order, starting from the day upon which you receive it.

As the lenses are produced especially for you to match your desired frame, and must subsequently be destroyed, we must charge a service fee in the case of a return; we thank you for your understanding in this matter.

If you select Standard lenses, you will receive a refund for the purchase price minus a service fee of €20,00. For Comfort lenses, this service fee is €40,00 and for Premium lenses it is €60,00.

2. RETURNS IN THE CASE OF COMPLAINTS:

Before each shipment we check our products for scratches, straighten the temple, clean the lenses, and package each item carefully.

Unfortunately, in rare cases, products can become damaged during transportation or the wrong product may be sent out.

If you wish to make a complaint about an item, please contact our customer service team at contact@lepetitlunetier and explain the problem to us.

Our team will endeavour to find the best and quickest solution for your problem.

IMPORTANT: If you do not contact our customer services team and send your delivery back to us, we cannot assume the costs for the return delivery; we thank you for your understanding in this matter.

3. INFORMATION ABOUT THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

3.1 Right of withdrawal

You are entitled to withdraw from this contract within 14 days, without giving any reasons.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

in a clear explanation (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. To do this you may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

In the case of a contract relating to multiple goods ordered by the consumer in one order and delivered separately, the withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

3.2 CONSEQUENCES OF WITHDRAWAL

If you withdraw from this contract, then we shall refund you for any payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from the fact that you chose a different type of delivery than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us), without delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive notification from you of your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; under no circumstances will you be charged a fee for this refund.

We may refuse to refund payments until we have received the goods or until you have furnished proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay, and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

Please note that you shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal and voluntary right to return

Glasses, that have been produced to your specifications or which have been evidently made according to your requirements, are excluded of the right of withdrawal. Hereby unaffected remains our offered voluntary right of return for prescription glasses within 14 days.
