Non-prescription blue-light-blocking glasses
All our frames in the Blue Light category come with non-prescription lenses with a blue-light filter as standard. Learn more in our guide: Blue Light.
Non-prescription sunglasses
Our sunglasses come with category 2 or 3 lenses, polarised or non-polarised. Details are available on each product page in the 'Model Details' section. Explore our sunglasses collection here.
Prescription glasses
All our frames can be fitted with prescription lenses for almost all prescriptions: we accept from -6 to +6 and cylinders from -2.25 to +2.25 (exceptions may be possible case by case).
Progressive lenses
We make progressive lenses, both online and in-store. For an online order, we'll ask you to send us a photo of yourself trying on the frame via the virtual try-on.
If you're unable to adapt, we'll remake the lenses or refund your order in full, provided you notify us within one month of receipt. See the Warranties section.
Virtual try-on
Virtual try-on is available via the 'Try them on' button on every product page. We also welcome you in our 17 stores.
Gift card
Our gift cards are available on our website and in-store. The code is sent to you by email and applied at checkout. Browse our selection here.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, PayPal, Bancontact, Sofort and iDeal. Pay in 3 instalments or at 30 days with Alma is available in France, Belgium and Germany.
Can I use two promo codes?
No, promo codes cannot be combined with each other or with a gift card.

What prescriptions do you accept?
We accept prescriptions from -6 to +6 and cylinders from -2.25 to +2.25. Exceptions may be possible on a case-by-case basis:contact us to discuss.
Lens thinning
We offer 4 thinning levels:
- Standard : prescription under ±1
- Thin : prescription under ±3
- Very Thin : prescription over ±3
- Ultra-Thin : prescription over ±5
Available coatings
We offer scratch-resistant, anti-reflective and smudge-resistant coatings, available depending on the lens range.
Prescription sunglasses
All our sunglasses can be fitted with prescription lenses, unless otherwise stated on the product page. Lens colour may vary depending on the options selected:check it in the 'Model Details'.
Reading glasses
We make reading glasses. Order prescription glasses on our website and let us know your reading prescription after placing your order.
Prescription : is it required?
A prescription is not required to order on our website. However, it is essential for any reimbursement by social security or a health insurer, and will be verified by our qualified optician before lenses are fitted.
: Under 16 years: 1 year
: 16 to 42 years: 5 years
: Over 42 years: 3 years
Manufacturing lead times
Lead times range from 1 to 10 working days, depending on prescription, options and coatings selected.

Social Security & Health Insurance
Reimbursement by social security and health insurance
When you purchase prescription glasses (on our website or in-store), we provide a treatment form and paid invoice to send to your social security office and health insurer.
100% Santé scheme
Under the 100% Santé scheme, you can order a pair fully covered by social security: 100% Santé Catalogue.
Eligibility: no reimbursement in the last 2 years, and a valid prescription. Thinning is defined automatically according to prescription; the included coating is scratch-resistant and basic anti-reflective.
CSS coverage (formerly CMU)
Frames eligible for CSS coverage are available in our 100% Santé Catalogue. We provide a treatment form to send to your social security office.

Dispatch times
- Orders without prescription lenses: dispatched within 24 working hours
- Orders with prescription lenses: dispatched within a maximum of 10 working days after prescription validation (see manufacturing lead times)
Orders placed on Friday, at the weekend or on a public holiday are prepared the next working day.

A tracking number is sent to you by email on the day of dispatch.
Click & Collect : in-store collection
You can collect your order free of charge from any of our 17 stores, within 24 to 48 hours. Available for orders without prescription lenses, subject to availability in-store.
Customs duties outside the EU
For destinations outside the European Union (UK, Switzerland, USA, Canada…), customs duties or taxes may apply. Details are provided when you place your order. Learn more.

About My Order
I haven't received a confirmation email
The confirmation email is sent automatically after validation. Check your spam folder or that you entered the correct email address. If the problem persists, contact us.
I haven't received my tracking number
The tracking number is sent to you by email on the day of dispatch. For orders with prescription lenses, preparation time can be up to 10 working days. If you still haven't received notification after this time, contact us.
I made a mistake in my order:how do I correct it?
We prepare orders quickly. If there's an error (address, product…), contact us within one hour of placing your order, specifying all the details to correct.
Warranties & After-Sales
Legal warranties
Independently of our commercial warranties, you have full rights under the legal warranty of conformity (2 years from receipt, art. L.217-3 French Consumer Code) and the legal warranty against hidden defects (2 years from discovery of defect, art. 1641 French Civil Code).
These warranties cover manufacturing defects and prescription errors, but not accidental breakage or normal wear. See full warranty details.
Commercial warranty on frames
In the event of a defect or breakage, we replace the damaged part (temple, nose pad, screw, hinge) or the entire frame if necessary, free of charge. Beyond one year, we replace spare parts free of charge with no time limit (postage costs to be borne by you).
Warranty on prescription lenses
As prescription lenses are made to order, they do not have a commercial warranty against breakage or scratches. In the event of accidental damage, we offer replacement at 50% of the selling price of the lens concerned.
Progressive lens adaptation warranty
If you're unable to adapt to your progressive lenses, you have one month from receipt to notify us. We will then remake the lenses or refund your order in full.
Returns & Exchanges
How do I initiate a return or exchange?
Access our returns portal or contact customer service directly.
What is the time limit for returning an order?
You have 30 calendar days to request a return or exchange. This period includes and extends the legal withdrawal period of 14 days.

Return processing time
Returns are processed within a maximum of 8 working days from receipt at our workshop. You'll be notified by email at each stage.
Can I return an order in-store?
Yes, at any of our 17 stores, within 30 days. Prior agreement from customer service is required: email us at contact@lepetitlunetier.com before visiting, stating your order number and reason.
Refund for a purchase made with a gift card
If you return an order paid for with a gift card, the refund will be issued as credit on a future order or as an exchange for a product of the same value. Partially used gift cards are not refundable.
