Means of payment

We provide you with several payment methods that you can choose when validating your order. Among them, payment by classic bank card, Paypal, alma in three installments and alma to pay later (payment on D+30), as well as others, particularly in Belgium or Germany.

alma: payment in installments

Payment in installments via via alma is available for any purchase of at least €40.
The total to be paid will therefore be divided into 3: you pay 1/3 of the total amount on the day of your order, the second third will be taken the following month, and the third third the month after that. Alma will tell you the withdrawal dates and the respective amounts and you will be able to consult your upcoming monthly payments via alma.

From February 12, 2022, payment in 3x or deferred by 30 days involves fees which are invoiced within the limit of the usury rate.
For these 2 payment methods, the fees to be paid by the customer are 1.5% of the purchase amount.

alma: payment on D+30

On the day of your purchase, you do not have to pay anything. The collection will be effective on D+30 after the day of your order. Alma will tell you the precise collection date when confirming the order.

From February 12, 2022, payment in 3x or deferred by 30 days involves fees which are invoiced within the limit of the usury rate.
For these 2 payment methods, the fees to be paid by the customer are 1.5% of the purchase amount.

Is payment in 3 installments free of charge also possible in store?

Yes ! It is available in all our Le Petit Lunetier stores for a minimum purchase of €150 and also only for French bank cards.

Can I benefit from a reimbursement from mutual insurance and social security for my prescription glasses even if I paid in several installments or on D+30?

Yes ! The payment method used does not influence your eligibility for reimbursement from health insurance and mutual insurance. You can therefore pay by credit card, by Paypal, in several installments or on D+30 and be reimbursed by your mutual insurance company.
Paying in several installments can therefore allow you not to advance too many costs and to obtain your reimbursement before having paid the order in full, according to the reimbursement deadlines of your mutual insurance company.

How does the refund work if I return my order?

Paying in several installments allows you to benefit from the exchange and refund conditions defined on our website here.
For any reimbursement request, a pro rata will be calculated based on the amount to be paid in future monthly payments.
The 1.5% fee is not refunded.

Example :

You purchased for €150 on August 1st.
- €50 was taken on August 1st at the time of purchase, €50 was taken on September 1st and €50 on October 1st.
- In the event of a reimbursement request of €60, the monthly payment of October 1st will not be deducted, and the debit of September 1st will only be €40.
- In the event of a refund request of €150, the first withdrawal is refunded to your account (€50), and the following two withdrawals are cancelled.
